    You do have to rewire the switch for this to work. The wire leads don't provide enough bare wire; so, you have to strip a little plastic off.

    the issue is the switch is larger from a standard switch so you need to make sure you have room behind the switchplate

    Ive added a bunch of these to my new house. While they need a larger box than standard outlets, they install just as easily. Havent had an issue with any of them.

    The switch did not include wiring instructions, so had to do some research online on installing. Not a big deal, but would have been nice had they included diagram of basic wiring.

    Love these switches! Easy to install and the reconnect if it drops off wifi (like when you change your router). I continue to come up with new places to install.
