Kasa's smart light switch is a great addition to your home. It can be controlled with your phone, Google Assistant/Home, or Alexa. It can also be used as a manual switch, of course. This product does require installation and a neutral wire to be present in your home for functionality. The installation can be done by a DIYer but I would recommend having it installed by someone if you aren't comfortable with wiring and electricity.

Pretty straight forward installation, remember you must have a white neutral wire to install! Works great with Google assistant

Love the no hub option. Feature packed. Great for controlling a single fixture with multiple bulbs or a bulb size for which there’s no wireless option and replacing a single switch that controls multiple fixtures like dual porch or garage lights. With the switch, you don’t have to worry about losing access because someone turned it off since it’s always connected. My TP-Link Kasa products have been very reliable and have withstood multiple power outages and a long nasty brownout.

I have tried multiple light switches before. This tp-link one is by far the best. It's so easy to setup. You don't need to know any network and firewall technics. As long as you have a cellphone, with a few clicks, you are good to go. It also integrates to Alexa and Google Home very well. I have power outage a feel times and it knows how to resume its connection automatically without me doing anything to recover it. Highly recommend!

With some experience it installs in minutes and the Google Home app saw it immediately. Great buy!

Easy to set up and use. Been using this for a while now and it never skips a beat! Great Product.

This connects to my Alexa device. I was able to program it to turn on the front door light when the Ring doorbell detects movement on the front door path. The position of the switch always looks like it is pressed at the top. You just press the bottom part to manually turn on/off your light.

I like the tp link platform. Has been very reliable and not hard to install.

Great smart switch to control your main light/lamp. Only thing i would worry about before purchasing is MAKE SURE your switch is compatible with your home's switch. There are many YouTube videos that show the wires you need and how to connect them. Other than that it's an easy installation. If you're thinking "I'll just get a smart plug" you really should save yourself the headache with having to figure out if you light switch is actually on or off for the smart plug and just get the switch.

Very easy to replace my existing non-smart switch. Instructions were very clear and the app download and configuration was also easy. The app was able to detect the switch and configure it seamlessly. I was able to integrate it with Alexa and Samsung SmartThings for schedule and automation purposes. Remember this version does not have dimmer capability and need to look for the next higher version if you want dimmer.

I bought this switch because for several years I manually have to turn on my porch light at night. I had enough! With this smart switch, I can set schedules, use the app to control the switch, and use my smart speaker to control the lights. So far it has been working great! As a requirement, however, you'll need to check if you have a neutral and ground wire. If you don't have a neutral wire, this will not work. Either than that, it was easy to install. Setup was a breeze through the Kasa app.

I LOVE all the automation I get with the whole line up Kasa TPLink products. I have the light bulbs, the outlet plugs, the power surge protector/ power strip and now the light switches. Next will be the wired outlet plugs! Makes life so easy to control what you want from anywhere! Best investment for me!
