The switch work pretty good. Sometimes wifi will drop since it doesn't have a hub but that's the reason I got it. Would recommend because of easy install.

Very easy to replace my existing non-smart switch. Instructions were very clear and the app download and configuration was also easy. The app was able to detect the switch and configure it seamlessly. I was able to integrate it with Alexa and Samsung SmartThings for schedule and automation purposes. Remember this version does not have dimmer capability and need to look for the next higher version if you want dimmer.

Need to have our front porch light on for evenings. This is PERFECT. user interface is easy from the app, we can set front porch lights to turn on at sun down, and turn off at sunrise. You can also customize settings to your liking. Easy installation for a person eho knows a little about working with electricity. You can use this switch for anything that you want control of

Great smart switch to control your main light/lamp. Only thing i would worry about before purchasing is MAKE SURE your switch is compatible with your home's switch. There are many YouTube videos that show the wires you need and how to connect them. Other than that it's an easy installation. If you're thinking "I'll just get a smart plug" you really should save yourself the headache with having to figure out if you light switch is actually on or off for the smart plug and just get the switch.

So I am notorious for shocking light switches, looked for an alternative and came across this. Was easy to hook up, note you do need the standard outlet for this model, no double or dimmer switches; those are available in other models though. Once we got it hooked up, I had no problem setting it up and getting it hooked up to my phone. Love this, and best part no more shocking if I do press it.

Works a lot better than other brands. Never have any disconnects unlike wemo. Works great with Alexa as well

I've got a dozen or so of these throughout the house. They're inexpensive and easy to set up. My only complaint is that the wires come out the back and you must use wire nuts to connect them to the circuit. Other switches have a hole in the back of the switch and/or a screw on the side to connect to existing wires making it easier to fit into the gang box. Occasionally I've had issues getting them to reconnect to the network after an outage, but eventually, things get going correctly. This integrates easily with my SmartThings Hub so I can set up automations with door sensors and motion sensors. It also works easily with Google Home.

I bought this switch because for several years I manually have to turn on my porch light at night. I had enough! With this smart switch, I can set schedules, use the app to control the switch, and use my smart speaker to control the lights. So far it has been working great! As a requirement, however, you'll need to check if you have a neutral and ground wire. If you don't have a neutral wire, this will not work. Either than that, it was easy to install. Setup was a breeze through the Kasa app.

Much better than wemo, but wemo more function than Kasa, wemo always disconnect the WiFi, this one is good, but make sure you have nature wire , some of the old house switch box too small, make sure it fit when you buy it, I only take less than 10 min to install, very easy, if you know little about eclectic you don’t have to turn off the power to install, but for safety recommend you shut off the power b4 you installing

Love, love, love Kasa smart switches. I've never had any issues with them and operating them with my phone makes life easier. The scheduling is nice too. I can "set it and forget it". I highly recommend them as well as their smart plugs. I have a 90 year old mom and using voice to control lamps, heaters etc is AWESOME! Keep up the great work Kasa...

Easy to install. Fits in the regular. Works amazingly well with Alexa. Must have for a smart home.
