These switches are fantastic. If you don’t want to use the female “hey so and so” apps, you can still use these without them, via the Kasa app. Timers are excellent, my kids leave the lights on all the time, so I just set the timers to turn off every hour on the hour after midnight! No electrician required if you’re comfortable, the directions on the app make it easy to DIY.

As an addition to an existing smart home, the light switch fit right in with no hiccups, decor or otherwise. Currently using to automate the porch lights' schedule, and works with no adjustments needed. Literally set it and forget it.

Super easy to set us and use..Although the wiring can be tricky.

These smart switches are some of the more costly alternatived yet they are of excellent quality and easy to set up with your smart home system. I've installed about 12 in my home and only had 1 of them fail after about 6 months. I returned it and got a "new" (refurbished) one in the mail from the company. All the other switches have been working well for about 2 years.

So much easier to program than my Wemos. Price is much better too.

I love these smart switches! I have at least 8 in my home. I have all my outside floods on these smart switches. If I hear something outside I no longer have to run all over the house to switch the floods on. I can control them with Amazon Alexa either individually or in groups or even say “turn all floods on”. I also use these switches for my ceiling fans. It’s really nice not to have to get out of bed to turn the fan on or off.

Switch works great. Installs as expected and connects right to wifi. Setup was a breeze. Only change is to have wires push into socket vs pigtails to save room in already cramped box.

Really like all the devices kasa offers. Installed this with many other of switches throughout our home. Timers can be set as well for on / off. Wiring instructions in box aren’t that great but if you use kasa app or YouTube makes it real easy to connect. MAKE SURE TO SHUT POWER OFF at breaker. Once connected kasa app walks you through whole process.

I already have Phillips Hue Light bulbs in various lamps around house. I wanted to further converting my lights into my smart home ecosystem! however for my recessed lighting the Hue lights were far too expensive. I chose to go for Kasa light switch for my bank of lights and it was super easy to install and easy to incorporate to my smart home ecosystem via google home!

Fast and quick installation. Easy to connect, and have had no issues with daily use.

I used this for my porch light and programmed it to come on a dusk and stay on until dawn. Kasa app is simple to use. Physical installation of the switch was also easy - but watching a video online helped. The Kasa install is in the app and you can find more specific instructional videos online (YouTube) for more detailed instructions if you're not confident with electricity.

I automated made it my entire backyard by using TP-Link - Kasa Wi-Fi Smart Light Switches. I’ve integrated it to Alexa and for a very cost effective amount of money was able to automate all the lighting in my backyard. I would highly recommend news for anybody who wants to have full control of their lighting both on a schedule and through Alexa

Love Love Love!!! Tnis is the best thing ever! Voice activate your lights, group them to turn on and off on certain commands. even put them on a timer. Super relaiable, easy to operate, easy to install. If you can use a wire nut, you can install these switches! Get one for the most used light switches in your home!!!

After insignia decided to discontinue there smart in-wall switch. I decided to buy these. Installing and connecting them to wifi was extremely easy within 5 to 10 minutes I was done and insignia was absolutely opposite to this. I am never ever buying any insignia smart products again.you never know when insignia decide to discontinue there products and left you out in the cold.

Great value, works as expected, and easy to install. I paired these up in HomeKit via HomeBridge. For those who aren't familiar with HomeBridge, it's an open source utility to bring unsupported devices in to HomeKit. We've been running a bunch of these for a few weeks now and they never miss a beat with our automations. Perfect!
