I am no electrician so I needed help identifying the wires on my switch. Other than the installation, the switch has worked. I love that I can control my front porch lights on the app and I can also set up a schedule so that they turn off and on. I will definitely buy some more switches.

Easy to setup easy to use works great with google home

These switches are a very easy upgrade to any modern era home. Installation is a breeze as long as you have a neutral wire, otherwise these won't work properly. Integration to Amazon's Alexa is a breeze using the app in the manual. You can have your porch lights run on routines to turn off/on with sunrise/sunset.

This item is on the lower end of the price spectrum but it works exactly as expected. Instructions are quite confusing and borderline nonexistent, but I would recommend.

Purchased this to control some outdoor lights whose switch is just not in a convenient location. This device works over my home network. It was easy to install. The app was easy to install and configure. We use it almost daily to turn the lights on and off. We have also set a timer so they automatically turn off if we forget.

Easy to instal and set up. Works whit alexa. The TP Link app is nice and works.

Easy to install. I did them all myself with no electrical experience following the instructions. Programming within the Kasa app and connecting to Alexa was a breeze. I changed every switch in my house out with one of these switches ( even the garbage disposal) . I highly recommend .

I think about any device be able control the front door lights on and off when we travel . My friend told me about the KASA wifi smart switch. I bought online at Bestbuy. Just take about 15 minutes installes and 10 minutes programmed. Now,I am so happy when nobody knowing my absence in my house when front door light still on and off as usual.

I love everything about this switch. Set up was easy once I had it installed by a professional. Being one who always forgets to turn off my lights, its super convenient to use my Alexa app to turn lights off from my bed. The only con was the difficulty in getting the right switchplates. Even with getting switchplates from Home Depot, it was difficult getting the right ones. I just wish that Kasa would make their own to make it easiee on customers.

So far so good. A little tricky to get wired in because my house was wired with all the same color wiring in the switch boxes. Wired up didn’t work. Had to repeatedly flip breaker and try different wiring combinations multiple times before I landed on the correct way. After that, followed directions in Kasa app in order to connect to my Wi-Fi. Do yourself a favor and turn off your 5Ghz broadcast from your Wi-Fi router first before trying to get the switches connected to your Wi-Fi in the Kasa app. Also if you are using a current iPhone pull down from top right to get to your iPhone control panel screen. Then hold down on the Wi-Fi icon towards the top left of that panel. Then choose the Kasa Wi-Fi from the Wi-Fi network selections. After install and setup I downloaded Homebridge and used a Kasa plugin do that I can control the switches thru HomeKit via voice control with Siri or thru HomeKit on my iPhone.

The installation process was simple as there are only three wires that need to be connected . Prior to installation, ensure that your switch outlet has a neutral and ground wire. People may advise using a ground wire in place of the neutral, but that is highly dangerous. Beyond that, it works great with Google Assistant and took no longer than 15-20 to be up and running.

It was very straightforward install and setting up on iphone was super simple. Please note that this switch needs ground wire for install will not work otherwise. App provides variety of options, scenarios and schedules - it could have been little intuitive but they are functional. I am happy and will buy more

These are the best “smart” light switches there are. Easy to set up. Work consistently. Work fine if internet drops. Works with SmartThings and HomeKit. Don’t know what else you could ask.

Overall simple to set up once you figure out how to unmount one of your existing light switch and integrate this electronic WiFi. No instructions were included other than to go online and check. Which is OK for those who are Tech Savvy but for the average I think a simple step by step would be helpful.

We use this switch daily to control our outdoor lights. I have it set up to turn the lights on/off at dusk/dawn. No more manually switching the lights on, it does it automatically. I have another set up for hall lights to be used when we are not home. Great security enhancement. No issues with hooking up the switch, it worked as it was supposed to after hookup. Couldn't be happier!
