I love everything about this switch. Set up was easy once I had it installed by a professional. Being one who always forgets to turn off my lights, its super convenient to use my Alexa app to turn lights off from my bed. The only con was the difficulty in getting the right switchplates. Even with getting switchplates from Home Depot, it was difficult getting the right ones. I just wish that Kasa would make their own to make it easiee on customers.

Quite simple to install. Just to make sure you know where is your ground cable. Reliable product and never fail on me.

This switch was easy to install and even easier to connect to Alexa. The instructions are straightforward and simple. Best of all, it actually works really well with Alexa and as a simple standalone light switch. I plan on buying more of these for other rooms in my house.

Installation on this switch was as easy as installing an old school light switch. Took less than 15 minutes from opening the box to operating the switch with the app. This was actually the 3rd brand of smart switch I installed, after the first 2 would not connect to my wifi. The Kasa app to operate the switch is user friendly and intuitive to use.

Works great and easy to install. Works with Alexa.

So far so good. A little tricky to get wired in because my house was wired with all the same color wiring in the switch boxes. Wired up didn’t work. Had to repeatedly flip breaker and try different wiring combinations multiple times before I landed on the correct way. After that, followed directions in Kasa app in order to connect to my Wi-Fi. Do yourself a favor and turn off your 5Ghz broadcast from your Wi-Fi router first before trying to get the switches connected to your Wi-Fi in the Kasa app. Also if you are using a current iPhone pull down from top right to get to your iPhone control panel screen. Then hold down on the Wi-Fi icon towards the top left of that panel. Then choose the Kasa Wi-Fi from the Wi-Fi network selections. After install and setup I downloaded Homebridge and used a Kasa plugin do that I can control the switches thru HomeKit via voice control with Siri or thru HomeKit on my iPhone.

This is a good switch that works really well. Easy to set up and connect. Only problem is that it is really deep and it does stick out farther than normal switches. If you are using your own switch cover with this it may not tighten up against the wall. I overtightened to get it to go up against the wall and cracked the cover, and it still does not go up against the wall.

Used 4 of these in my basement to control pot lights. I now can turn on 1 of 4 quadrants at a time or all the lights at once. The only issue I had, and this was no fault of the switch, was that 3 of the switches were in one electrical box. Lots of wires to deal with but if you take your time and make sure the breaker is off, you shouldn't have any problem.

This switch works perfect! I am very happy to own 3 of these. It can be turned on/off at the switch or via your phone, very convenient. It is also easy to install, took me about 15 minutes to do it. App can be loaded onto multiple phones, so family members can all access same account. Highly recommend it!

Purchased these lights for my the front outdoor lights so I could be able to turn the lights from anywhere in case I would not be home. When downloading the app I noticed a calendar which you could input when you want your lights to turn on or off on their own. No need to worry anymore about forgetting to turn on the lights.

This is a great option if you need to control multiple lights with a single switch. I also have the Phillips Hue system as well - which is great but is cost prohibitive if you have 6-8 lights to control. Pretty easy to set up - but make sure you have a neutral and ground wire present in your switch box before you purchase.

I purchased this to replace a Wemo switch. Always had issues updating the firmware with the Wemo. This appears to be the same switch but, it works flawlessly so far. Very easy to install and connected to the wifi network easily. App also is very intuitive and works without issues.

I have added a few smart switches: TP-LINK is by far, the easiest to install. I have installed 6 so far. The quality is really good. I have never had connectivity issues. I have been wishing that TP-LINK would come out with a 3-way switch, and now they have. I placed my order on-line. At the time of this review, the 3-ways are not quite released yet.

I love the finder ring light on the switch that illuminates when the room is dark, Highly underrated feature! Integration works great with Google Home/Assistant and the Kasa app makes using the away feature super easy. Installation was very easy and takes about 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend this over other smart switches.

The TP-link switch replaces your existing switch. This enables remote access but what is best is the scheduling aspect of it. For example, I have it turn on at the same time my alarm clock goes off, then turn off at the time I leave for work. Switch works great, kasa app works great..** note..this model does not dim the lights.

I’ve been making some upgrades to my home to make it more efficient and lighting was a big part of my focus. This light switch is easy to install and connect wirelessly. The app works great and easily integrated with my Google Home. Definitely would recommend if you are interested in making the switch to a Smart Home.

I liked the ceiling light I have because of the lighting effects it provides by the halogen bulbs and glass enclosures and didn't want to replace the bulbs with wireless bulbs. I installed this switch which interfaces with my Amazon Echo Voice Assistant i.e. Alexa. and works perfectly in my smart home. It was fairly easy to install.
