You can control lights remotely from your smartphone as well as Alexa if you set it up right. And it integrates nicely with other TP-Link Kasa products which sort of forces you to stay in their ecosystem...not an issue for me given the good value.

For awhile though Tplink was kind of the best options. The app and setup are easy. The switch is very sensitive though.
