Good product, but a neutral wire is required!

When I started to install it, I learned that I do not have a neutral wire inside the box that I wanted to install it. This switch, and any of the TP-Link smart switches all require a neutral wire. Make sure to check before buying. If you install it without the neutral wire, the switch will connect to the internet and even light up, however, it will not work your fixture.

Awesome switch that works great with Alexa

These are AWESOME! I got addicted to these when i replaced only 2 outlets and now i can be lazy with Alexa and say "turn off the kitchen light"... Now i'm replacing ALL my home switches with these.

No more late night trips out to the garage to turn off the forgotten light. Just need to have a good enough wifi signal to be able to connect the switch to it.

I installed for my front porch LED can lights; have them set to turn on at sunset (which it adjust correctly to my local sunset); porch lights being turned on when I arrive home after dark is awesome! 10 out of 10!

Easy Setup WiFi Switch

Replaced my existing switches which controlled outside outlets. Wiring was a breeze and was easily able to configure HomeAssistant to turn on and off. Nice thing about these switches is you do not need to subscribe to a cloud service. All traffic can stay on your LAN.
