For the price and quality of this product, it’s definitely worth it. I had someone install the lock for me, and setting this up was fairly straightforward. The fingerprint scan works like a charm. Had it for a month and no issue so far. Battery life seems to be durable, haven’t charged it once yet. Recommend.

After buying this product for the front door, I had been blown away by the ease of installation, and sleek design. It just works and has no issues as compared to other smart locks. I was surprised that this seems to be TP-Links first Smart Lock, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a decent smart lock.

The lock is working exactly as advertised. It was easy to install and set-up user access. My favorite is the fingerprint sensor. No need for keys!

High Quality. Install went relatively easy. After a few weeks there have been no issues. Fingerprint Sensor is fast. Highly recommend for security as it automatically locks after a predetermined time you set in the app.

Very quick and easy to set up. Took me maybe 20 min. I would prefer replaceable batteries over the rechargeable one we’ll see how long it last. Love the app and doorbell feature for when my wife locks me out.

Beats the hassle out of looking for your keys. Ots easy to set up and notifies you everytime someone opens the door and locks it.

Extremely satisfied with this deadbolt. I have a Tapo video doorbell and integrated the chime and app unlock function easily. The fingerprint reader is working well. Lots of other options.

fairly inexpensive dead bolt lock. works good so far. has some issues at times if you have dirty fingure or dont hold fingure on long enough.

So far, the lock works as I was hoping. It was easy to install and the set up… well the set up process was easy to follow but the app itself was very unstable. During the set up process, I had to close the app several times and re-open to complete the step it was in. It would constantly stall or get stuck in a loop. Once the set up finally complete, it was fairly easy to get the settings customized to our needs and to add users. I read a couple reviews stating the deadbolt striker wasn’t as big or robust as others. I noticed a very slight size difference but nothing that was an issue for us. Overall, I’d recommend this if you’re in the market for a smart lock. This review is more on the 3.5 star rating due to the app issues but I will say, I haven’t had an issue with the app once set up was complete. Closer to 5 stars if TP Link can fix their buggy app.

This has to be the lock that is the best thing for your buck. I recently had a Yale lock die and needed to replace it. Didn’t want to pay almost $300, so I took a chance on this one. I’ve had the lock for almost 2 weeks and it’s still at 100%. I love knowing that I won’t be eating batteries every other month. The only thing that would make this lock perfect is matter support. It’s not a big deal for me since I use Alexa. I like this lock so much that I also replaced my side door lock with the Tapo D110.

The product summary says "6 ways" to unlock the door (Lock and unlock by fingerprint, passcode, Wi-Fi, close-range Bluetooth, voice commands, or with included backup keys). My expectation was that I would be able to walk up to the door and have the close-range Bluetooth unlock my door, OR if I didn't have my phone handy I could use fingerprint / passcode - all while having remote access over the Internet via the wi-fi connection. However, the only way to use close range Bluetooth is to TURN OFF WI-FI. So, this lock is limited to either 4 or 5 simultaneous ways to unlock depending on how you configure it. It can either be set to lock and unlock 4 ways by 1) fingerprint, 2) passcode, 3) close-range Bluetooth, or 4) with included backup keys. OR lock and unlock 5 ways by 1) fingerprint, 2) passcode, 3) Wi-Fi, 4) voice commands, or 5) with included backup keys. There is no way to have ALL 6 lock/unlock functions enabled simultaneously. I'm disappointed in this limitation (and in the misleading description on Best Buy's website) but for the price, I'm keeping it. It is a solid and secure lock, the fingerprint sensor has been 100% accurate, it integrates seamlessly with my other TP-Link/TAPO devices & app, and it seems to be well built. The hardware on the inside of the door is larger than I'd hoped but I'm getting used to it. Last, DON'T USE ROADIE for delivery. They didn't deliver within the time promised and I'll never choose same-day or next-day delivery from Best Buy again.

I've been using the lock for four months and so far it has worked flawlessly. I am able to get some integration with Home Assistant through Smartthings such as lock status, locking and unlocking commands but no battery level. Recommended.

Easy to put on the door panel and everything on set and easy to use on app and lock code door knob.
