Love it, cant wait for the upgraded version with the camera on it....rechargeable battery last a very long time

This smart lock has been working perfectly, better than we anticipated. Installation was easy. Love it using a large rechargeable battery instead of regular batteries-it's been in use several weeks and battery is still 100%. One thing that surprised me is you need to set up a PIN, so that when you ask Google to lock or unlock, Google asks for the PIN. In a way this is annoying, but if you think about it, it's actually better security.

Easy to unlock with finger print. Fast response with keypad but a bit difficult with key. I which they made or do they make one without a doorbell?

Great product. Was easy to install following instructions. The app provides various options for set up - finger print and/or number code. Allows for auto-locking after a certain time being unlocked. Would recommend. Easy to use product.

Beats the hassle out of looking for your keys. Ots easy to set up and notifies you everytime someone opens the door and locks it.

This is one of the best locks we have bought for our house so far. Love the auto lock feature especially when the kids forget to lock the door. The lock is very user friendly, even for the little kids in our house to use.

You will not find a better smart lock than this Tapo. Easy to install, great build quality, easy to use thru app, fingerprints and codes. All the features you need and more.

Fantastic! Half the cost of other doorbells with the same advanced features, and just as good. PLUS a rechargeable battery. Only negative is the doorbell is very sensitive and goes off easily, but you can turn it off.

Excellent features as a replacement for my Yale lock that always ran of of batteries at the worst time or lock would get stuck and not open. Feature rich with either fingerprint, key, code or app. Stores up to 100 fingerprints. You really do not need a doorbell as is included on front. The only down side is that the person that you share access to has to have an account with Tapo.

I have installed and owned numerous Yale/August smart locks. Moved into a new house and trying to keep the spending somewhat under control looked around. I could get two of these for the price of a Yale Assure. I opted for a Yale Assure for front door, and put these on two other doors. I will say the install process was much simpler with the Tapo Locks and the app set up is a BREEZE. The only downside is that with two locks I would like to be able to have the fingerprints be shared between locks, instead I need to set up the fingerprints and codes on each device separately. Not a big issue but with a family of 5 have to go through it twice. The quality of the hardware is very solid. Has a premium Matt black finish. Also I love the doorbell - which you wouldn’t think you need but is a great add if someone locks themself out the back door…

the fingerprint scanner makes it a breeze to get in when my hands are full. Also being able to lock and unlock to let someone in via phone is a big plus.
