    I recently switched to the Tapo smart devices and like the solid build quality. The dimmer switch works exactly how it should. Easy to configure and use. I specially like the gradual dimming function where it dims the lights on/off gradually. So when I turn off the lights, instead of instantly turning off, the lights gradually dim for 3 seconds before going completely off. You can adjust how quickly it dims from 1 second to 60 seconds.

    Great value but getting wired up can be tricky, as all homes are wired differently and configuration isnt always the same (dont trust that wire colors match). My advice is draw a picture, make sure you understandnwhats happening inside the junction box, and buy a meter to test line vs load.

    Did my whole house with tp switches. Very happy with the quality. Had 1 or 2 that would make a recessed light flicker at the end of line on the lowest setting, but once I paired up and updated it, it was resolved. It's a bit bulky to install especially in 3 and 4 gangs. But any decent electrician shouldn't have a problem.
