For a non-techie like me, set up was easy and using the app was easy. I could not get them to work in the Google Home app, but in their own app it was easy.

The app and its acceptance by Samsung's Smart Things and Alexa is great. the APP even measures Energy use of devices plugged into it.

Indoor and outdoor

I have used one of them outdoors for garden lights and it does a great job.
