These reset to correct time if the power goes out from summer thunderstorms or winter snowstorms. Otherwise, your lights might be on during the day & off during evening house with regular plug-in timers. Easy to use app.

Thank you for your review. If you're having difficulty connecting your Tapo Smart Plugs after relocating to a new apartment, we first recommend ensuring your Wi-Fi router is using the same Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password as your previous network to ensure a smooth transition. This should allow your smart plugs to automatically connect once your router and Internet connection are set up.
However, if you have a new SSID or network password and do not want to change it back to the previous settings, you can perform a Wi-Fi reset on the smart plugs by pressing and holding the power button on the smart plugs for approximately 5 seconds, then use the Tapo app to re-add the smart plugs with your new network settings.

I wish I had a built-in clock so that if you used it for your Wi-Fi router to turn it off on a timer that it would turn it back on at the time that you would want it. But so she's work on Wi-Fi. You can't do that. Other than that it works as advertised

There was one time they all stopped working at same time for a few days and that sucked. I still don’t know why (as our wifi was working). But they all started working at same time again!

It connects to WiFi and you are able to control it via Alexa, google, or even its own app all thru your phone. Totally worth it I have them all over my house I control my lights, dryer and pretty much anything that plugs in.

I’m planning to buy a few more of these, but I’d prefer a set with built-in power monitoring to enable automations based on energy usage.
