My only complaint is when using with iPhones the notification sound cannot be changed and the volume is only controlled with the ringer volume. Otherwise love the cameras.

I have the 3 pack to put on my Morton building. These have a magnetic plate that allows you to attach to a metal structure or if it’s not metal there is a double sided tape that you can stick to a metal plate to use with the magnet. The cameras seem a little outdated as the take micro usb cords to charge. No issues charging but like a said not a usb-c port. During the day the picture for the camera is pretty clear at night not so much. You can see but it’s doesn’t look 4K. They seem to have a good viewing range as well. My issues with this product…. 1…the app needs major updating. It has froze on me a few times. Also you can just click on the push notification…it takes you to the main menu then you have to go to view the video. 2…the cameras require a micro usb card for storage or purchase cloud storage. Personally you shouldn’t have to pay extra the pint is to have the storage to record. 3…not sure how well the double sided tape will hold. The magnet is very strong so we will see how the freezing cold in Ohio will hold up. 4…there is no pc or website app it’s strictly smart device usage. Overall it’s ok…

With regard to the app notifications and performance, please ensure your Tapo app and camera firmware are fully up to date.
The cameras offer multiple storage options to suit the various needs, such as local storage via Micro SD card, or cloud-based storage via a Tapo Care subscription plan. These storage types are common in home monitoring cameras, and we wanted to offer both types for user convenience.
The mounting mechanism is designed to secure the camera to the installation surface. The Tapo TC85 is designed with IP66 weather resistance. As long as the installation location remains within the camera's operating environment specifications, it should function as intended:
Operating Temperature: -20°C ~ 45°C (-4°F ~ 113°F)
Operating Humidity: 10%~90% RH, Non-condensing

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the TP_LINK TAPO 4-PACK 2k indoor out door cameras. This is such a great concept; however the application is horrible!!! We worked THREE hour uploading the app going through the paring of cameras and we could NOT get them to pair up. We contacted customer support and waited in que 40 min to get to "chat" with a CS rep. OH MY!!! I will not waste more time nor space explaining the complete lack of understanding and total incompetence and of this individual. I threw in the towel and boxed the whole mess up, all 4 cameras and 4 solar chargers, returned them!!! I hope my refund appears back into my account in a timely manner!! The concept of these cameras is grand but the reality of the application remains: Totally regretting all the aggravation, wasting our time, and my extra blood pressure meds. They got ONE star from me because I could not give them - 40 NOPE! NOPE!! NOPE!!! DO NOT waste your $$$, time and the aggravation!!!!!!!!

Our Tapo Cameras are designed for quick and easy setup using the Tapo app. If you're having difficulty connecting them to your network during setup, please ensure your router's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong at each camera's location.
Please also ensure your smartphone is not connected to a VPN during setup, as this may interfere with the installation process.
