Generally, if you are experiencing difficulty connecting the extender to your router, we recommend setting up the device in the same room as your router, then relocating it after setup is complete. We also suggest re-verifying your router's Wi-Fi password during setup, or if using the WPS setup method, ensuring the WPS process is performed in the correct order. The extender's indicator LEDs will help you determine which position in your home is ideal.

    My internet service provider offers a wi-fi extender it’s twice the price but works well. This has limited range and is good for a single room in your house. If you want better coverage spend a little more on a better item.

    I live in a standard house and there’s no crazy walls made out of brick or anything. I was hoping this extender would help get Internet into my garage, but it is very weak.

    It was easy to install. BUT the speed coming off the extender was underwhelming to say the least. It took my 700mb average and whittled it down to about mb, about 30 feet away. Get yourself a mesh system.

      The Software of the ATT Gateway should not affect the ability for the range extender to connect to the Wi-Fi network. What may have happened is that an ACL or Firewall setting prohibited the Range Extender from connecting to the internet.

    I thought was going to help my Wi-Fi but didn't work that much until. I got the better one the Nighthawk Netgear did amazing power WI-FI, So I just return it the very next day.
