Thank you for your review. Please bear in mind Wi-Fi extenders utilize half-duplex transmission. As a result, throughput when connecting to the extender may be reduced when compared to the router. This is an industry standard for Wi-Fi extenders and is not exclusive to TP-Link.

Please first ensure it is installed in a location where it is not exposed to external heat sources (e.g., direct sunlight) for prolonged periods, and has adequate ventilation (e.g., not installed in a confined space).

After trying about 15 different ways to get a second TV to do what the older 4G modem used to do with ease, compared to Motorola's 5G dud, this was a waste of time and effort and ended up being returned to Best Buy.

Sgnal would drop constantly or fail to connect. Finally traded it in for a mesh extender, which has been great.

Then after successful setup, find out that it was not even transmitting. No difference whether plugged in or not as far as getting more range to my devices.
