It is reasonably priced and I would recommend it to anyone who has intermittent connectivity issues with their wi-fi network.

Get great WiFi service on 1st floor and anywhere in house. That’s great!

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in Wi-Fi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.
We also recommend ensuring the extender's firmware is fully up to date using the steps outlined in FAQ 1406 on our official website: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1406/

I have a nice wi-fi card in my gaming PC that was only getting 30 MB down from my 600 MB wi-fi. This extender boosted it to 160 over wi-fi and when I plugged in the ethernet wire, over 400 MB. This is going to save me form running CAT5 through the roof and down a wall. Setup was easy, took about 15 mins plus trying a few locations for best speed. I had way better results with this than the other extenders i have tried. Really satisfied with this!

Immediately there were rapid change in the wifi band expansion throughout the house, with outstanding results, I’m really glad and so excited that I chose to go with this amazing device. So as a consumer I’m really satisfied with this product.

I like the clear indicators on the face, the movable antennae, and the port on the side so you can get ethernet directly from it is pretty sweet.

Its a metal building so signal inside is weaker than outside.The new receipt location is about 300' from extender so it's sending a signal to the outer reaches of the acerage, nice.
