My router placement is in the closet of my bathroom (not the ideal spot for getting signal throughout the place). ATT offered to give me an extender but we all know it doesnt help to pay ten bucks for the rest of your service. This extender allowed me to seperate my devices based on 5 and 2.4 frequencies from my living room. Innow have signal in every room and can connect all 12 of my devices with no issues.

I downloaded the app and followed the instructions and had it working quickly. My Wi-Fi didn't have good reach throughout my home but with this device there are no problems.

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in Wi-Fi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong, yet far enough from the router to extend its range effectively. Please verify that the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.
We also recommend ensuring the extender's firmware is fully up to date using the steps outlined in FAQ 1406 on our official website: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1406/
