It stays in but wiggles easily. I don't know it is this extender or the new computer but I have trouble staying online. I keep getting a message wanting me to Troubleshoot the reason for being not connected. I have tried two outlets for the Wifi extender. There is no other convenient outlet.

Posted .Over time outlets can get a bit worn and as a result items plugged in can be a bit loose. Please try other outlets, especially ones that are less used or have had only 1 device plugged into it for some time. This will rule out the extender itself. If you have tired such an outlet and it still feels wobbly please discontinue using the device, out of abundance of caution, and contact support to start a replacement process, as long as its still in warranty that is.

After activating, it worked for one evening. The next day it didn’t work. I got help from Best Buy and found that my router was had a weak network. The extender was trying to create another Wi-Fi network in the dead zones. It was too much for them to keep this going. I upgraded my router and it worked! I returned the extender.

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in Wi-Fi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.
We also recommend ensuring the extender's firmware is fully up-to-date, using the steps outlined in FAQ 1406 on our official website: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1406/
Additionally, one of the helpful features offered by the extender is its ability to copy, or "clone" your router's Wi-Fi SSID (name), so it appears as a single unified SSID, instead of a separate one.
