Extender did the job

TP Link range extender

The reviews on the Best Buy site were good so I purchased the TP Link unit. I tried locating this in various parts of the house and at first I wasn't seeing much in the way of results, but then I plugged in the range extender near my desk and ran an Ethernet cable from the range extender to my docking station. My download speeds have doubled. The only disappointment is that there was no change in upload speeds, which remain very slow.

Great interface

I've used equipment that's more expensive and supposedly more professional but the interfaces have been very poorly designed. This one's well worth the money especially with a great interface
