After trying to fix it for 3 hours and factory resetting it 10 times it started working again but disconnected after one hour. I have to factory reset it multiple times and turn off 5g just to maybe get it to work for an hour. DO NOT BUY

Internet extender. Terrible customer service.

Brought it back, upgraded and still didnt work. The manager gave me a hard time getting my refund because it was 4 days past return date on receipt which nobody reads. I have been a customer for 30 years. Awful treatment. Manchester, Ct store.

If you are experiencing difficulty connecting the extender to your router, we recommend setting up the device in the same room as your router, then relocating it after setup is complete. We also suggest re-verifying your router's Wi-Fi password during setup, or if using the WPS setup method, ensuring the WPS process is performed in the correct order. The extender's indicator LEDs will help you determine which position in your home is ideal.

wi-f extender is not same as a wi-fi mesh

As a result, throughput when connecting through the extender may be reduced when compared to the router. This is an industry standard for Wi-Fi extenders and is not exclusive to TP-Link.
