The phone vibrates everytime you touch a button, even when that feature is turned off. Also, it never came with a charger, even though the box said it would.

I got it for my babysitter to use for a week while I had to go to work and she said it froze for a while every other day. If i can go back i would have gotten the next phone up.

They'll never go out of style!!!

But, I will take these little flips over the fanciest smartphone any day! These DO what I NEED THEM to DO! Make calls, send texts! And, they are DURABLE and ERGONMIC, they sit in my hand in a way that is comfortable matching the contours of my hand the way a smartphone just never has... they always feel just a bit uncomfortably slightly too wide. These fit in any of my pockets, also. I can put it in an upper shirt pocket or my front pant pocket and sit down with it remaining there without it bothering me. I can DROP IT, I probably dropped the last one 50 to 100 times in the four months that I had it and when I pick it up the screen was still unbroken because if it's open when it lands even if it land screen side down the v-shape prevents it from hitting any hard surfaces, if it lands it's side nothing too break but buttons which never have broke and half the time if it's open when I drop it, it conveniently closes itself upon impact if it lands at the right angle and velocity! Smartphones are great for many reasons, but I have never felt that they make a very good phone for everyday use. Smartphones are GREAT handheld COMPUTERS and they serve that purpose incredibly well (as long as you can keep them charged) but, for me anyway, they make terrible phones for everyday use and practicality, like staying charged. The other thing is the cost, I don't want to spend nearly eighty dollars a month on a phone bill PLUS insurance to replace it, if I lose it. My little Alcatel cost $20 and the TracFone pre-paid service is just, as well, $20 a mo. unlimited talk and texts with 1gb of data which just don't use accept on the rare occasion someone else asks me if I can look something up for them! So, not only am I happy with my purchase, if I had the money, I would probably buy the company, just to make sure they never stop making them, because I don't care what anyone says, they'll never go out of style!!!

The display is great, the sound quality is better that the older model, and large buttons and ease of use make it a good choice for Seniors like me. An emergency contact button is added to this model. Very economical choice for folks who don't need another monthly bill but need to have a cell phone.

Of course, they were out of stock so I went to trusty Bestbuy. I use this as an emergency phone only. For this purpose, it is OK. I had to go through three hours and at least three Tracfone reps to finally get it working and transferring all my old minutes and adding new minutes because they were due. On this phone it is difficult to access remaining minutes and service end date. I'm not tech savvy so it may take a while and few phone calls to figure this out. I would also like to know how to use hands free or speaker phone. With time and perseverance I may get familiar with all the other options/functions.

Bring back 3G

However, I had no choice since no one is supporting 3G technology any more. I don't care about internet, camera and all the other crap you get with 4G and 5G. I just want to only send and receive phone calls and texts which I could do with my old 3G Tracfone.

I'm 75 an this is a phone to us in case i have to but really wouldn't tell someone to buy this or Tracfone. Its to bad as it shouldnt be that difficult to set up or use. Also battery life isn't very good = need to charge every night.

Nice solid feel and weight, unlike the $20 Nokia which is a piece of crap and feels like it'll easily break. Never heard of Alcatel before, but it's a real nice phone.
