Tracphone was recommended because of how user friendly they are. Tracphone has cheap and affordable plans for elders who are just looking for the basic call and text in case of an emergency.

It a chintzy phone for a budget phone plan. If you need one where you don't care about what happens to it, there you go. Tracfone isn't a bad carrier, but theyll blow up your phone with texts like Best Buy if you don't unsubscribe quickly.

Couldn’t make it to work coz I trusted BestBuy staff to pick up everything that we thought we should need to get it all started. I bought it for my son who only need talk and text and No data coverage as we requested. So he pulled the phone device and the no contract airtime service plan card $15 for 30days. We got home but the card activation code or service pin code on the receipt from BestBuy isn’t working and TracFone is denying and is unable to help with activation. TracFone is claiming error is not on them but is on BestBuy though I have both a Tracfone Compatible device and Talk and Card. It is so frustrating and time consuming trying to figure all these out and to go back to the store. Activating this device will be a little challenging.

Only able to choose "pay by minutes" basic plans

Those plan are charge by minutes. I was looking a phone for my 10 years old kids who is taking city bus to school. I found google has kids account. You can take control or uninstall web browsing app. I bought mint mobile, only $15 a month.

THE BOY WHO SOLD IT TO ME STATED I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM INSTALLING THE T-MOBILE CARD INTO THE PHONE - I HAD TO RETURN IT.
