It also included a SER number? for phones that don't have a sim card. Make sure your new phone uses a sim card. Following phone manufacturers instruction for accessing the sim card then follow the instructions on the Tracfone website. I was upgrading my phone and was up and running in 20 minutes.

I did not know that the sim cards had several ways to use, Att, Verizon, etc. the rep was very nice in helping me put it in, said i might need to change it to another one at a later date after i activated my phone. i will see how it works after i activate my phone.
