She doesn't call or text much so I decided to go with a Tracfone. She has Wi-Fi and knows how to use Messenger. She likes using Messenger as well. I bought her the $19.99 prepaid card at first and thought it would last her long but I had to refill her prepaid line in less than a month. Don't know what happened there.

Great phone for no service plan

Things like roaming that will be charged 2 minutes for every one used and not allowed to roam in some areas can restrict the use of a phone on the tracfone system. For some it is the lowest cost choice to have a cell phone, but it's not for everyone.
