I bought the right phone, but the Verizon SIM card wouldn't work and this was the last kit they had. So I ended up with an AT&T SIM card which doesn't usually work as well in my area. I haven't used the phone much, so I can't really comment on it works. The price was right for the choices. Everything was installed at the Best Buy store.

I bought the kit and put in the SIM. After trying to setup the phone, I am told the Honor 6x is not a compatible phone.

In florida better coverage than T Mobile

Its cheap, but a hassle. As far as recommending, well, I guess. ...if you uae trac phone, not much choice other than this.

We have used them for 10+ years.

Can not make the phone work without it

Poor Coverage / Lots of Unsolicited Calls

So I needed a simple prepaid SIM card which would allow them to send texts and make a few calls. But the coverage was weak. And they kept getting spammed by unsolicited texts and calls in the middle of the night. They could hardly use their phone. What a waste.

If you don't buy minutes and texts, you are OOL.

Turned a Verizon phone into a T-Mobile phone.

I inserted the Verizon Sim card into an old Verizon phone. It activated fine and I made a few calls, last night. This morning, the phone did an update. With T-Mobile! Now, I have a Verizon phone, Trakfone Verizon SIM card connecting with the T-Mobile network for updates. Not to mention the T-Mobile startup log-in theme sound. During a chat with Trakfone, I was told... "You may be getting software updates from T-Mobile, but the network updates are from Verizon" When I pointed out that the Trakfone Verizon SIM card is communicating with the T-Mobile network, on a phone that has always been a Verizon phone, their response was... "Well if that is the case, we recommend to purchase a TracFone device." I asked if they could/would replace the defective Trakfone Verizon SIM card. Their response... "It will cost you $0.99 before taxes and shipping." Avoid this company! I will continue to purchase items from BestBuy. But not the Trakfone products.
