Unit is smaller than the flat screen phones which I like. I bought it because I wanted a keyboard with larger numbers and no contracts.

Happy mother in law

We got her a smart phone last year and she could not figure out how to use it. She is very happy to have a basic flip phone again.

New is not always better

It doesn't show the days and minutes, there is no call log for calls made, received or missed and I can't find a redial option. To me these things are pretty basic features. It's also twice as big and heavy as the old flips. On the plus side the sound quality is good and it is setup for better internet access. If I had a choice between the new LG flip and my old Alcatel, I'd take the old phone every time.
