Somewhat basic

Went with this phone and Tracfone service. I only used it for a year and upgraded to a Tracfone iPhone SE . I have an iMac as well, so I guess I'm just more comfortable with Apple products.

Finally a decent smartphone to use with Tracfone.

I was contemplating either switching to a different provider or buying and bringing my own smartphone (which would be expensive). Then I found this LG Rebel phone and it meets all my needs: 4G LTE, decently up to date Android system - Lollipop 5.1.1 (you'll never get the latest version on a Tracfone), cameras, ease of use, not too big but with a screen size that's big enough for me. The phone itself feels good in the hand and the textured back makes it less slippery in the hand. I am quite pleased after using it for two weeks. It's gone through updates, connecting to wifi, using data, using apps, etc., with no problems. One of the main features I love is the flashlight available in the notifications panel. The best part was the price.
