From the first few days we got the card we've been getting messages to add minutes -- although I wouldn't mind this once in a while, it's a bit annoying when we are still so far from having used up our initial minutes. Good value though

If you don't talk a ton on your phone, TracFone is a great option. Less than $100 a year (with options to top up if you need more) and if you have a CDMA phone, you're on Verizon's network, which has always had the best coverage wherever I've lived. The one thing I don't like is the "surprise" fees at the register, which add several dollars to the price. I am finding that it's the same fees no matter what card you buy, so it's actually better to buy a year card.

The convenience of the card is great, especially if you prefer not to use auto-pay through the website.

This is a typical Tracfone card used to replenish one's account. A good phone, good card, overall good experience.

These original cards work on smartphones also. Great for infrequent phone users.

I don't call or text too often so Tracfone suits my minimal needs. A good option for people on a tight budget.
