      Tracfone+magicjack =home&cell phone for $10 month

      Posted
      modalsystem

I use this card on my android tracfone.Pair it with the magicjack app and it is a money saving machine. The magicjack app gives you free calls on android/apple phones/ tablets/iPod touch wherever you have WiFi,and I get WiFi almost anywhere in my area.Whenever I make a call the phone gives the option to use the magicjack or tracfone dialer which helps you save tracfone minutes. The more I use the magicjack app over WiFi,the more tracfone minutes I build up as any unused tracfone minutes carry over when I add this $20 tracfone card every 3 months I use magicjack for $35/year($3/month) for my home phone service and have the app set to use my home phone number. When someone calls me at home it also rings my cellphone and tablet if I am connected to WiFi.Because of the app, I only need minimal tracfone minutes for $7 a month( I buy this $20 tracfone card every 3 months) for rare occasions when i don't have access to WiFi.So I get home phone service and cell phone service for $10 a month. If you don't have or want to use a cordless or corded home phone, you could pay even less than I do using the tracfone/mj app combo. Here's how: If you used the free version of the mj app with an android tracfone with triple minutes with this card, you would get almost unlimited minutes wherever you have WiFi and 60 tracfone minutes for when you can't access WiFi for $7/month.The free app version gives you a number that has an asterisk at the beginning and end. For $10 a year(.84 cents/month) extra, you can choose your own regular U.S. number for the app making your total cost for phone service about $8 a month. As of now,I prefer the tracfone/magicjack/magicjack app combo for $10/month because I still like to use a regular cordless phone at home to give the cell phone a rest .Very happy with tracfone and magicjack service.

This is an affordable great way to extend tracfone time and minutes. The product is great, HOWEVER - BUYER BEWARE - I'm really upset that best buy no longer accepts their own best buy egift cards for purchase of tracfone or any other phone time cards - it's NOT a gift card; it's a phone airtime card - that is just NOT right - really disappointed in best buy for this new policy change! I guess I'll be spending my money elsewhere (as these phone cards are sold in many other places s.a.Target and Walmart who don't have those restrictions on using their gift cards for their purchase) to purchase them in the future! Sorry best buy, you just lost a customer on this product I used to buy from you all the time - maybe you should re-think your policy changes! Gift cards and egift cards are the same as money/cash and arbitrary restrictions on what you can and can't purchase with them just sends your customers to your competitors wherein their use is NOT restricted!

Tracfone air cards are a good deal

Tracfone air cards are a good deal. For $20, I get 90 days of service. With my Alcatel Pixi Pulsar smartphone, I get 180 minutes of talk, 180 texts and 180 MB of 4G data with that. That is suitable for me, because I usually use WiFi for data, and doing that doesn't deplete the 180 MB allowance. Tracfone allows unused data, talk and minutes to be accumulated as long as one adds a new $20 card before the last one expires. As a result, I have accumulated a few GB of data on my account now. If I needed more data, I could buy a $10 Tracfone card giving 1 GB of data. In any case, Tracfone provides a good way of being able to use a smartphone for less than $7 per month.

Bought this card for my tracfone because I think it's the best value for occasional cell phone users like me. The best thing about tracfone is that it has monthly promotional codes where you could enter to boost your minutes and service days. However, those promotional codes could be enter only when you are upping your minutes from a prepaid wireless card. As I was entering the code from this wireless prepaid card, I also entered the promotional code from this month. I ended up having an extra 40 minutes and 60 extra service days. However, the extra amount of minutes and service days varies from time to time. Those promotional codes can be found by searching on the web.

Bad idea to split up data/text/voice

With all my other Tracfones, when I purchased a card it could be used for any type of communication. Now that I have a phone using Android, Tracfone splits up the Data/Text/Voice. They offer separate cards for data and voice but this is very inconvenient and they obviously did it because they know how people use their phones so they are optimizing their profits. I rarely use my phone to make a call, so I'm going to end up with a million minutes of voice time, yet having to continue to purchase their data and text minute cards. They should allow the user to move the minutes from one area to another on our member page.

I take my 94-yr old aunt (who had earlier been very reluctant to use her phone and minutes) up to Best Buy and purchase a TracPhone card every 90 days. Not only do minutes carry over to her new card, but she takes it over to the counter and the department employees eagerly and pleasantly load the card to her phone after they process the purchase. It is so easy for her to do, and we feel better that she always has a phone and usable minutes in her purse. It's easy and affordable, and she feels safe and connected.

Tracfone is really a good solution if you just want to have a phone for emergencies. My wife uses it mainly to send text messages these days. I used to have a Tracfone phone and would call my relatives in France for the same price it would cost me to call my wife here! Unfortunately the quality of their network dropped and my calls kept on getting dropped so I gave up calling abroad and using my tracfone service altogether. This is the smallest card you can get from Tracfone I believe but if you look around there are promo codes that give you more airtime, and sometimes your phone comes with double or even triple minutes for life.
