If you have a smart phone there is no triple minutes with texting. So you need to know that before you buy!

I wish the boys in the c-phone dept. got credit for working with tracfone products. That way they could help us more.

Complicated "Simple" Phone

At the insistence of my wife, I purchased a "simplistic" flip phone (TracFone). After 6 weeks, I still am struggling with basic tasks such as retrieving messages and texting. Granted, I am no technical genius, but even my tech savvy son struggled with it. Limited directions came with it and I don't want to spend hours researching its use online.

As the title above suggests, there's really nothing to "review" about this product.

Bad idea to split up data/text/voice

With all my other Tracfones, when I purchased a card it could be used for any type of communication. Now that I have a phone using Android, Tracfone splits up the Data/Text/Voice. They offer separate cards for data and voice but this is very inconvenient and they obviously did it because they know how people use their phones so they are optimizing their profits. I rarely use my phone to make a call, so I'm going to end up with a million minutes of voice time, yet having to continue to purchase their data and text minute cards. They should allow the user to move the minutes from one area to another on our member page.

Very little select of these phone cards. Disappointing. Also, I had to find this myself, staff member said there weren't any in the store. I went looking around and found a 30 day card.

I bought this card online and then called to activated when I received it. Tracfone refused to do it over the phone because the card was not appropriately scanned in the store and that I should go to the store to activate it. What is the point of buying it online if I have to go to the store anyways? The tracfone service was terrible and I prefer to lose the $20 I spent at this point and go with a different carrier.

The phone is very easy to use but the battery life is too short. One conversation empties it and has to be charged.
