Huge fan of the mana games, but this is hard to play. The game play was ok, and some of the core story line and soundtrack scenes were good, but dear god, the voice acting. It was so bad I couldn’t finish the game. Just awful….

This is how you do a remake very fun and entertaining.

The game itself is fun but the graphics are a bit dated and rough on some of the edges. The story itself is pretty cool how everyone has there own beggining.

Good game. I really bought it for nostalgic purposes but it's easy enough that my Two year old can run around and play it also.

No complaints about the itself, however when mine arrived through shipping of course the disc was loose inside.

This is one of those games that brings back the nostalgia feeling for people who played good games on the Super Nintendo. Games like Secret of Mana (SNES) and Chrono Trigger. There is no complex story or extreme crafting system where you have to find rare items. You go to a dungeon and fight after purchasing supplies from a town. So what makes it good. Can't say. Its just a...Simple design. I have played the old SNES version of this, so the story was no surprise for me. This version stays true to the old one (mostly), but has improved on the game (most notably is that its in 3d). Some attributes that make this game good is the flexibility. You choose three from six characters and can distribute points to their five attributes (strength, stamina, luck, intelligence, and spirit). In addition, these characters get multiple classes to choose from (and you can only choose one). Another thing this game does that (to my knowledge) no other game does is that it has three different stories that depend on the lead character you choose. This includes three different final bosses. The main idea of the story stays the same, but the beginning, the final dungeon, and final boss all depend on the character you have as your lead. So this does create a desire to replay the game with different characters. What might be a turn off is that some people say its simple in challenge. I can't say since I have been playing it on HARD mode. But it is giving me a fair challenge. All in all, this is a good game. Not the best (I give that to Persona 5), but a nice simple game that brings back memories for anyone who played games on the SNES and for anyone who wants to play a simple action RPG.
