Something in one of the dumbbells is loose and clangs around. It was like this when i received it. with a heavy dumbbell and getting a rubber one I was hoping it could at least take some light dropping but won’t risk it with this one.

Purchased these 45s and 40s and honestly can't tell them apart besides looking at the weight on the rubber. The 45lbs weighted in at 42lbs the 40lbs weighted in at 40lbs. If I would've known they're this close in size and weight I wouldn't have purchased one of the sets I would have just skipped a pair can't find anything on there +/- so I wouldn't recommend this pair since these are off by 3lbs each. Save your money and skip a pair. Also another con is there isn't enough knurling on the handles to much smooth surface

Okay, so everything about this dumbbell looks great. The handle is nicely knurled and fits good in your hand. The rubber is well formed with no cracks or imperfections. There is just one problem...it does NOT weight 12.5 pounds! I put it on my digital scale and it weights 11.5 pounds. That's one pound less than what it is supposed to weigh! I could see being off by maybe one or two ounces but a whole pound? And that's not just one of them but both dumbbells weighed 11.5 pounds. Where is the quality control? When you purchase something that is advertised as a certain weight, that is what you should get. Being a whole pound off is just unacceptable!

The dumbbell was damaged, It had a huge gash of rubber missing. The associate at the store said there was nothing they could do.

These are poorly made… the coating is uneven and bubbled, and the part where the 12.5 and brand name are stamped bulge to create a rounded edge on the dumbbell. Surprised, because the 7.5s I also bought are really good quality.

i ordered 2 dumbbells and only got one so far. the other says shipped and is just sitting in limbo

They arrived pretty beat up. I would not order these sgain. No box

First dumbell lost in shipment, I think they never had in warehouse. Second one was to arrive 6/15/21 today, now yet another problem, reschuled to 6/30/21. What the heck is going on? Terrible service. They accepted my money and I have no product. Bait and Switch!!!!!!

Elite sounds good, but the extra price was not worth it if the weights are off. One 56.4 lb and one 53.4lb.

My whole order got messed up from the store up to online support. I ordered a set of 2 x 60 lb dumbbells and only got one. I was told the other dumbbell would be delivered to the store, but it ended up getting cancelled. I had bought a second set of dumbbells for 55 lbs alongside this and I got overcharged . Nothing is consistent from the store end to the app.

Upset at the time and length to just get a dumbbell. Only ordered it because it was on sale. Would never again though

Im sure it would have been great if i had actually gotten both items. But somehow one of them was damaged nobody seems to be able to tell me what happened to it. Or give me my money back. What a shame honesty.

I returned these because the weight of each dumbbell was 11.4 lbs instead of 12.5 lbs. I contacted Tru Grit on their website before I returned them, but I never received a response. Very disappointing!

Highly frustrated. Second time returning. The weight is wrong! 11.5lbs and 11.9lbs.

Nice weights, good grips, not too rough. Does not have the strong oil smell some weights have.

It feels like the weight of a 2.5lb rock. Behaves very well, stays in place right where I leave it. Be careful, will break your little toe if you trip on it.
