I've used plenty of headset in the past, from 400$ to 30$. These I keep coming back too for on -the-go and late night sessions when I want to lay down and relax. Not having to worry about a big over-ear headset to make me uncomfortable when I lay my head on my pillow is pretty huge. Even though they are small and ergonomic, they produce a rich sound and as an added bonus they provide decent mic quality as well. After plenty of multi-hour gaming sessions, I haven't felt much ear fatigue; even when laying down. Sometimes I do feel like the inside of my ear gets too hot, but that is remedied with a quick pop out. That has been the only real uncomfortable moments I've had using the Battle Buds. Turtle Beach really nailed the dynamic sound field, even with these relatively small drivers. For reference, I have ben using these with my PS4. Whether low or high volume; music, dialog, and all the sfx are clear with a wide sound stage. A nice feature is that the Battle Buds have in-line control for volume as well as mute which is something you can't take for granted. The microphone is fairly decent, delivery clear voice without much background noise. My voice doesn't sound tinny through the relatively tiny microphone. Decent enough to casually stream. Overall, the Battle Buds is a great headset and even better deal.

These do the job. I work in a call center and couldn't use the over the ear headphones bc they really irritated my ear piercings. These are good and no one has complained about the quality of the mic. The sound is good and loud so that actually gives me more control over the volume, which I like. The side with the mic is constantly slipping down for me but I think that's because none of the ear pieces are the right fit for my left ear. But tbh I have that problem with all earbuds. The side without the mic rarely slips and it fits better. I still think it was a good buy for literally like 20 or 30 bucks. Try em!

Couldn't find a headset that was similar to the original, affordable microsoft xbox 360 headsets. Seen this and it was pretty much a no brainer because it wasnt over the ear nor to big. It's small and theyre good overall. Just have trouble picking up my voice sometime.

My only complaint is that the microphone is on the left side intead of the right. Otherwise these are great headphones for the price excellence sound quality & microphone sounds good with or without the microphone extension.

Not the best sound quality. It does ok. After seeing these being used by some idiot singing about how Xbox lost its purpose or something, I feel a whole lot more cringe behind these.

Overall. Great product if you're looking to buy a sound device for a device/console earbuds would be a great alternative.

Extended use becomes uncomfortable but not unbearable. Mic is fine but you will have to adjust chat/game volume depending onthe system you’re on. They aren’t long last and feel probe to standard ear bud issues like hearing issues on one side or bzzing noises while listening. Overall.i’d rate them 6/10 for the fact that ear buds with mic at this price are hard to find

Fairly inexpensive. Easy to connect. But didn't last more than a month before static on the microphone.

I bought these because the over-ear headsets hurt my ears. Much less ear discomfort with these but the mic is so quiet others have trouble hearing me in game. Even with mine and their volume up all the way!

Presentation/Features: The highly anticipated Turtle Beach: Battle Buds retail for $29.99 and provide a unique experience. The Battle Buds are wired gaming buds, with a detachable microphone, targeting mobile gamers and battle royale games. The ear buds offer multiple ear tips to adjust the comfort level, and an inline microphone with volume and mute controls. The ears have a medium sized plastic piece indicating the Turtle Beach logo, housing the speakers and audio systems. The teal colored 3.5mm cable is long enough to connect to your controller with ease, and easily connect to the controller and did not provide static. Looking at the price point and design, there are some items to look at. First, the cord is rubberized plastic coated and gives plenty of room. The removable microphone transmits voice but gives lots of background noise and sounds like you are yelling down a hallway to talk. This experience counters the marketing of “crystal clear chat”. When in a party, the earbud audio reverberates in the chat until the buds are muted. The inner earpiece of the bud is extremely rigid and is uncomfortable regardless of the ear tip added. The audio from Apex was slightly delayed, and very muffled, making it necessary to turn the volume up all the way to attempt to hear those around me. Sadly, it did not offer the immersive experience as any other over the ear headset. On the plus side, these are extremely portable and come with a nifty little cloth bag to put them in. Final Thoughts: Turtle Beach attempted to try a new idea, as there is little in this exact market, however this product is not the solution. The earpieces are extremely uncomfortable, and the audio quality is nothing spectacular, if not worse than standard tv speakers. The microphone quality is annoying, and your friends/party will be sure to let you know how displeased they are with your reverb/static. The microphone is heavy on the one ear and pulls it down and does not make “crystal clear chat”. If you are looking for $29.99 wired earbuds, I would get any standard earbuds and just use them for gaming as they will be more comfortable. Verdict: Do not Purchase. Not worth the time or money. I would buy standard wired earbuds, and use them for gaming as well, since they will be more comfortable and a better quality than these.

Did not last one week. Cheap quality. Mic and sound stopped working

Mic is horrible on Xbox. Party complains about noise. Do your friends a favor and DON’T buy this.
