This headset has horrible sound quality! The bass improvement button doesn't improve it much. The other buttons don't really improve much of anything. Definitely will be returning.

These where excellent to start with, however after about a month they quit working, manufacture defect, took them back to Best Buy and was easily able to trade them in for a different set of Turtle Beach head phones that work wonderfully.

Read reviews on this and sounded good but I did not like this headset due to you can not move the boom mic up or down plus since you have to plug it into your controller, everyone said when I talked it was staticy and broken.

This headset came with an inline controller that first off was heavy and so created a weird pendulum effect when wearing. Any movement and it would swing around wildly. Then it supposedly had different modes for Xbox One/PS4 and PC but I tried it on both consoles and it didn't seem to affect anything. I ended up having to bypass it because it started not working at all pretty quickly. I took it back and was luckily able to exchange it straight over for a Razer Kraken Pro V2. It is superior in every possible way and since they're the same price I can't think of one reason to buy the Turtle Beach one.

Purchased this and the microphone did not register on any device. Thankfully Best Buy aided in replacing this with a better model and I have been thankful ever since

At first I was pleased with the headset. Good sound and no echo mic. But within 3 months they disintegrated. Very unhappy.

It comes with a tweeter amp attachment. Kind of annoying. Without the amp sounds like crap. Return it and bought the Sony platinum headset. Much better!

The head set is to small and the ear cups push into your ears. If you wear glasses they start hurting after a long period of gaming. Also the volume isn't loud enough.

I use my headset to raid on WoW and it broke after 2 weeks... buyer beware. If you buy Turtle Beach, make sure to buy an extended warranty. They break easily.

    Great Headset

these are a great pair of headsets in my opinion. others may say they have cheap build quality because they are plastic but to be honest they feel good and those saying they feel cheap probably dont take care of any headsets and buy new ones every 2 to 3 months after breaking their current headsets. Sound Quality is superb with rich base and mids. lows are decent as well. The mix amp is the heart and soul of the headset. without it you cant have surround sound, mic monitoring, and bass boost. you can also mute your mic and have what is called "superhuman hearing" which i dont use much. the fact that i can hear my own voice is a plus! never again do i have to sound like im underwater whenever i talk. with mic monitoring on the mix amp i can adjust how loud i want to hear myself and the voice quality you hear from your own voice through the headset is the quality others will hear. i give the mic a 10/10. For about $80, i feel like i got more than what i paid for. Oh and the headsets may not be as comfortable as other headsets but they can last you a good 3 hours of gameplay. ive never played for 7 to 8 hours like others do, i have many other things to do but they are okay when it comes to comfortability. I rate this headset an 8/10
