Sounds Awesome BUT if it is for a PC big surprise!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hello, When I was at Best Buy the PX24 headset for $80 bucks stood out from the pack so I splurged and made the purchase. I got home and and connected everything and guess what, it was missing the audio / mic splitter to connect to my NEW DELL PC. After reading the manual in the box, DID I SAY "IN THE BOX", I found out that Turtle Beach did not include it. I thought, no big deal, I will just find one at Best Buy to purchase or another retail store because it must be a cheap part. Well guess what? Best Buy did not sell it, Walxxx and Targxx didn't either. What did I do? I took the $80.00 headset back to Best Buy and got my money back. Next time Turtle Beach that you put in your advertising that it will "connect virtually to any pc", you better hold to your word and not go cheap on a dollar part that you could of just included in the box. NO WAY was I going to order it online and wait days for a part that should of been included. I WOULD RATHER, AND DID, MADE YOU EAT YOUR RETURN. By the way, I was totally happy with the performance of the headset. Sounded freaking awesome. Too bad you could not hold your promise to the PC clientele as stated on the box. Really Disappointed,

You buy these, they will break in months...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headset's aren't what I truly expected. The good: Great comfort even after several hours of gaming. Very well suited for people with big or small ears/heads etc. The sound quality is crisp & AMAZING. You can hear every footstep around you in FPS games. Mic quality is very crisp & clear. The bad: Surround sound is very high depth and pitchy, sounds like you are losing your hearing. I suggest staying with stereo mode. The WORST: Quality of PX 24's is HORRENDOUS. 1st pair snapped along the sides where you adjust the mic. I had warranty so I picked up a brand new pair. New pair started getting tears within 2 months. I am exceptionally delicate with my things, ESPECIALLY headphones. I have had beats for 4 years now no problems. Never broke any headphones. The build quality is the worst of the worst. Do not recommend.

Great headset for sound an chat
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great system. Im using on PC and was not aware that I needed a Y adapter until I got home and unboxed. If your PC has mic and headset ports you will need this splitter. Could not find any locally, had to order online. Should have noted this on the box

It was okay till it lasted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned it for 8 months until today when one side broke. It seemed durable at first then a few months later it broke at one of the arms. I particularly really liked this headset because it was my first Turtle Beach gaming headset and it has plenty of features, I didn't really need to use the SuperHuman hearing because it was super loud for me who doesn't blast my music, and it wasn't an inconvenience to just dial up the volume as necessary. Modifying the amount of surround, bass and mic monitoring was very helpful when trying to tailor its functions to the users' taste. Only problem was that module is kinda big and can be cumbersome with its placement and can get in the way sometimes.

Very nice headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is my first headset. I don't have anything to compare it to but I'm quite happy with these. I use it quite regularly on all of my devices. I've found the sound quality to be great and really enhances games and movies.

Great sound, different listening options
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great, has different control options to choose from. Can set it so you hear your voice when you speak so you aren't talking too loud or softly. The control panel can sometimes be tedious to deal with, but not bad.

Very Good Headset for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset comes with this an attachment that is supposed to let you hear footsteps and reloads but it is bulky and useless. It is easy to remove and just use the headset!

Not a fan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a great cheap pair of turtle beaches for years and wanted to replace them. These seemed like they would fit the bill, but they sadly did not. The biggest criticism right after I put them on was how uncomfortable they are after any significant period of time. I consider myself to have a generally normal sized head, and these were just squeezing around my ears like crazy. They were literally giving me a headache which is when I knew I had to return them. The other thing is that the sound is just not that amazing. Having to charge the amplifier is a huge pain, not to mention that the "superhuman hearing" thing honestly seems like a big gimmick to me. It seemed to just make everything super loud and not helpful in game. Now I will say that the mic seemed good. Truthfully I am still a fan of turtle beach but some of their headsets are simply not worth buying, and this is one of them.

This was not worth the 70$ i paid
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, this product is not very PC friendly due to the required PC splitter cable that is not included in your purchase. I did try these out only using them as headphones and not a headset, but it was nothing more impressive than anything in the 40-60$ range. I will also point out that for the features such as surround sound and being able to mute yourself there is a battery that needs recharging, and when you are charging, it makes an awful static noise. I returned these because i did not want to struggle with a short cord and all of these problems every single day to use an average headset.

Just ok, bulky
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is ok, the adapter is bulky and pulls down on the controller quite a bit. I've had some issues with the cable itself and may have to exchange it.

It's not that good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an older version, the PX22, and it was leagues better than what this provides me with. The microphone on it is horrendous, I'm not sure if this is due to the fact of its compatibility with both consoles and PC. If you are buying this for a PC headset, don't

It's not great.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is bad and the mic quality is bad. Go buy something cheaper and something that's actually good. I have some other turtle beaches that I bought back in 2012 that are better than these.

Another one broken
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. That is the THIRD headset by Turtle Beach(bought at the EXACT same store, 3 different models) to break, in the exact spot, the exact crack shape, on the right earphone, just below the rotating joint. I'm done with this product. And it always just "happens" to break outside best buy's warranty duration(be it standard or extended). All I did, was gently remove them from my head. I take care of them. I don't throw them around, I don't slam them or yank them off my head.

Very Low Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wires shorted out on the first pair after 3 months. Second pair after 5 months. On the third pair the amp must be broken because it sounds horrible compared to the first 2 sets. Very low quality product that sounds decent when it is working. Glad I got the protection plan on them.
