The mic is very nice for hearing where people are coming from. It gives many different modes too.

So I would give this item 5 stars- because I LOVE it! But I have to say, my first time around with this item wasn't the best. I bought it new, and it broke on me only 3 days into use. I was talking online when it made a loud hissing noise then broke randomly... Tried again with headset # 2 (bought new). Well, I think I just got a lemon the first time, because this one works great! Battery life is awesome. I love it being wireless! My cats kept chewing through my wired ones... The mic quality is great. I get SO much more into my games because the audio quality is so spectacular! You can hear every footstep and the background music can be so cinematic and pull you in. The only other downside is after wearing them for probably 3+ hours, they start to hurt your head just a little bit. Overall very happy with this purchase, and I got the 2 year BBY geek squad protection this time in case it decides to break on me.

Headset is comfortable and easy to adjust. Sound is very good for this price range and the charge on the battery will last for several hours. I have used mine for over six hours straight with no sign of discharge. I would definitely recommend this headset and assuming I have no issues within the first year I would also get it again

Great headphones for casual to moderately heavy gaming. Very clear sound, separate game and chat volume controls. Ability to adjust bass and treble, and to mute microphone. Easy to charge and holds a charge for up to 14 hours of play. Very happy with purchase...bought 2 pairs.

The wireless range of this headset is pretty solid. Game controller and headset no longer arbitrarily disconnect while playing online. The plastic headset railings are a bit flimsy and likely will break if you do not take care in taking off the headsets when you are finished with your gaming session. This is a common issue with Turtle Beach headsets across the board. Otherwise, sound fantastic, speech and game volume controls are simple, and the headsets stay charged for hours.

Awesome wireless headset, makes it easy to game and drowns out background noise.

My grandson LOVES them! Great clarity! Needed new headphones STAT as his broke.. went to BEST BUY and found these. They were unfortunately they only AFFORDABLE wireless for XBOX so its not like we could do much shopping around but happy with them. My grandson says they are comfortable which is a lot for a boy with autism and normally complains.

Pros: the wireless freedom is worth it, audio is decent for the price, easy to setup on an Xbox One. Cons: extensions for earpieces are very fragile and break easy. If you have a large noggin, these might be a bit tight.

The Turtle Beach 420x Plus wireless headset are fantastic! These are my first pair of gamer headphones I've owned. In fact, I previously went with the SteelSeries Arctis 5 and returned them in exchange for the Turtle Beaches'. What made me settle was the wireless feature. I got tired of having to deal with a 3.5mm cable getting in the way. Battery last a good while too but I normally charge them before or after I get off playing. The surround sound is nice too. Also, the (plus) feature is the super human hearing (along with other presets too) so you can hear footsteps and mic is detachable. Lastly, the headset is convertible into headphones so if you need them to listen to music on the go or whatever.

For me this headset has a great battery life. Great sound quality, with the sound boost making it even better. My only complaint would be the volume controls are very sensitive.

These are super comfortable and pretty decent with noise cancelling. They stay connected decently but they do cut out a little. :-/ other than that they are good headphones.

They sound great and have great conrtol on the headset for chat and game sound. The only thing I’ve found to be less than stellar is the mic monitoring. I haven’t found a way to adjust it to be higher, and can barely hear myself when chatting.

My son got these for Christmas and loves them! The sound is great and they are very comfortable. They are wireless, which makes them great.

I bought this set to replace some x12's since I didn't want to deal with the wired headset anymore. The reviews on them were good and I am enjoying the set. Easy to set them up, holds a good charge and the sound is good quality. The buttons to turn them on as well as mute, turn up or down the sound are all on the same side and easy to reach and the presets are awesome for different games. I usually only play shooters so they work great for me. Worth the money.

This is my 2nd turtle beach headset and first go with a wireless setup. You will not be disappointed with these bad boys. Sound is crisp and clear, activate the bass boost and you're rocking like you're right there in the battle. My only complaint is if you are a glasses wearer like myself, the ear cups are plenty big to cover my ear, but not big enough to clear the earpiece on my glasses, so my glasses get pushed forward on my face from time to time.

This was a Christmas gift for my son. He likes them very much because it's wireless. I bought this headset because I needed to replace his Turtle Beach 500X after they broke when they fell to the floor. This comes close to the 500X because its wireless, no wires to the controller. Sounds good when playing video games and listening to music from your mobile phone. I'd give it 5 stars if it was more durble.

Great sound and connectivity. I can walk upstairs and still hold connection. I don't like the Mic sensitivity or the location of the mute button.

I hate wires connected to my controller, and when heard these were truly wireless I had to have them. They last about 14 hours on a charge. Only issues I really have with the headsets is they mic occasionally won't sync to the Xbox, could be a Xbox issue. , I'll try to reseat the USB receiver or a hard reset, annoying at times
