So, 150ish is what I call mid-range for a gaming headset, at the time, that was this ones rough price. The mic quality is extremely tinny and the sound output was disappointedly muddled. And sadly that was when it was working. For a PC headset I would say either get a cheap 50 to 75$ one that basically mimics this ones performance, or save more and get one better. This was an extreme let down from Turtle Beach.

The headset was able to pair and worked, however when I tried to connect to the software to activate the 3D audio it continually gave me error messages. I looked on reddit for a solution and there are lots of others who experienced similar problems with no true workaround. So I was able to hear however with no software the quality was poor especially for the price.

This headset is only good for PC gamers. The noise cancelling microphone only works for PC. So the 3.5 attachment gives you a microphone. The volume controls and the mute button don't even work for the microphone. It says in the description is good for Xbox, clearly it is not. When I talk to my friends it sounds like I'm talking out of a well or something.

    Cheap plastic

After only using them for three months, the plastic surrounding the headsets are already cracking and chipping off in pieces. I expected more for headsets that were over $100. I even made sure to be gentle when taking the headsets on and off, but to no avail. Would not purchase these headsets again.

Was a good headset for the first couple months. Then the plastic on both ears was becoming very brittle and breaking off. Ive had these for right under a year and the left ear broke off. I wouldn't recommend my stealth 700 were cheaper and still work after years of wear and tear.

Be ready to give these back within a year of use. No physical damage has ever been done to this headset however the microphone has technical issues and sounds like a robot after 8 months of use. Not at all worth the money you pay for. Buyer beware.

It’s just sucked. Advertised it as if it connected wirelessly to Xbox but it dosent. And even when you use it for the computer it would not set up. If you use the wire and move it even slightly cuts the audio in one ear (depends on if you bump it left or right). Not worth the price.

My 20 year old son LOVES the headset! He replaced in with a 5 year old Turtle Beach headset and is blown away with the upgrade. He has used them on is PC and XBox and says the sound quality is outstanding-clear and balanced and feels immersed in the game. The headset is high quality material and comfortable to wear for hours and hours of game playing. The control studio has lots of options to customize for your liking. The charge is long lasting - days long. His friends all want to use them when they play!

Install, restart, sounds is OK at best and mic quality is absolute rubbish. I tried turtle beach after years of sub par performance with their headsets, definitely not worth the asking price of 149.99 I DO NOT recommend these to ANYONE at all. Purchased and returned in one day.

    Solid Wireless Headphones For Gaming

The Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero Headset is a good headset, and that is kind of all that needs to be said. It comes with plenty of standard features that many wireless headsets come with now a days so I do not see anything that makes it stand out feature wise. It has 3D audio once you get everything set up and have it all set with the Turtle Beach app, But I honestly did hear much of difference than headphone running windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos. The headphones have very good audio quality and sound great, you do have super human mode where it essentially turns of the low end and brings up the highs so you can better hear footsteps or someone sneaking around. It works pretty well But I rather have the full audio than the just highs. The mic on the headphones is ok, the volume on me speaking seemed to be pretty low, but I did not have any problems with other people hearing me. everyone could understand me but no one was wowed by the mic. The headset does also work with a PS4 in wired or wireless mode and they are limited to stereo mode but they still sound very good. Overall the headset has a very nice design and is very easy to use. I think the headset is a bit tight at first, My head is not very big and it was pretty tight early on, but it did seem to get better as I wore it. Time will tell if it will continue to loosen up and get too loose but so far it has been ok. As much as I know I sound negative I do really like these headphones I think they sound really good and I recommend them to people looking for a pair of gaming headset. If you need a solid pair of headphones that can be used for your PC or PS4 you cant go wrong with these.

Sound in is great, mic is not

The sound coming in on this headset is great, surrounds your ears with great quality audio. The mic, however, lacks the same quality. The memory foam cushions are awesome on the ears, no pressure at all. There is also a slot to fit eyeglasses, if needed. The headband could not be adjusted to fit my head correctly. No matter what adjustment was made it would not fit to stay in place. Having the headset falling down and sometimes off when leaning my head forward while playing PC games is irritating at best. Nobody wants to have to mess with that in the heat of a match. The battery life is awesome. The app is minimal. The worst of it though is the mic quality. My online friends wanted to know what was wrong with my mic. right away. They knew something was different and it was not good. It was muffled, sounding like I was far away. No adjustment made it any better. There are better quality headsets for less out there, so I can't recommend these.
