Customers are saying

Customers admire the Recon 200 headset's sound quality, comfort, and value for its price. Many appreciate its compatibility across multiple gaming platforms and the convenient flip-up microphone. However, some users point to issues with battery life and the wired connection. A shorter cord length and occasionally low volume were also cited as drawbacks.

These are definitely lower end Turtle Beach but for the money they perform well. If the price is right they are definitely worth it.

Really disappointed thought these headphones were going to be wireless due to charging but that’s not the case. You still need to charge the headsets in order to play also it does not give a low battery warning. Only a little light on the power button which when gaming cannot be seen. Although for the price it makes sense.

Bought my son some Rig 700 for Christmas, they stopped working 3 months ago, and getting customer service at Rig’s impossible. I filed a warranty claim and nothing from them since. Last dollar I’ll give them.

When these did work, the quality was solid and the fit is comfortable around the ears. However, the aux chord no longer emits sound rendering the headset completely useless. I hope bestbuy/turtle beach can address and correct this issue as my headset is in perfect condition but does not work :/

It's certainly not the best headset I have owned but it gets the job done. The ear pieces can really hurt your ears if you don't adjust your ears properly. Also, there is a bit of static that comes through and although it isn't constant, it is still noticable enough to be annoying. There is also an echo and I have tried everything I can to get rid of it but to no avail. I use mine on the XBOX One. But as they say, you get what you pay for.

Headset is solid and works fine for the price. Plugs into the controller so even though it is not blue tooth - it goes wherever the controller goes and it is fine

      Thanks for your feedback.

Some of our newer wired model headsets (i.e. Stealth 300 and Recon 200) require charging due to the fact that they are amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort.

Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller). TurtleBeach
