If you need something to get you by this will do. You will have to make sure to keep it plugged in (yes, this has to be charged via micro-usb) or else it will die and you have no headset. Ended up saving money up and bought me some Astro A50

The Recon 200s require charging due to the fact that they are amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort.
Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller).

Sweaty, painful for big heads

The audio is very worth the price point. It’s immersive. The battery is disappointing. If your head is right sized and you can routinely charge it, this is for you.

After about an hour the quality would diminish. After a few hours a loud deafening squelch would let me know that the head set needed to recharge for 12 more hours

We were able to get one warrantied but the other was just out of the warranty period.
