You can hear the game good but it is soft. I have a hearing problem and find it hard to hear some things on games (First Person Shooters.) My son likes them but he hears better anyways... So for the price they are no bad but if you can save up and purchase a more powerful pair.

The headset can be a tad uncomfortable for a while but does the job just fine. The two biggest complaints I have are 1) the headset does not chime when going from mute to unmute or vice versa and 2) there is no chat/game audio mixer controls on the headset itself like on the 600 series.

I experience a lot of static and they cut out a lot when used with my Xbox one. I experience the same issues with both headphones I purchased so it could possibly be my controller connection? Other headphone / buds work fine.

Some of our newer wired model headsets (i.e. Recon 200) require charging due to the fact that they are amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort.
Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller).
