My headset is used mostly for call of duty war zone or multiplayer, I had been using my skull candy venue but it left a huge echo on everyone else’s end. I got these and I was honestly super excited, charged them, and fired up my ps4 for some late night shenanigans. They worked great for about two hours and then in the middle of a match it sounded like an electrical fire in my ear, but I noticed when I put the mic up it didn’t make that noise. So I got off the game for maybe 20 mins and got back on and went into a party and my brother asked if I was okay, he said it sounded like o was running a marathon with my headset on when I wasn’t moving at all. I checked all my levels and even with my mic muted there was noise, for the money I paid I didn’t want perfection but I wanted something that would work. Returned them, switched out to the stealth 300 and will see how those work.

This was the second pair of Turtle Beaches I owned that have done this. No abuse was taken on either headset. I’m not sure if they have a soldering issue with the connector or it’s just weak to begin with. Either way I now own two broken pairs of Turtle Beach headsets.

They appeared to be awesome headphones, but he hasn’t been able to game with them since he got them. He can hear other players, but the mic will not work. I did all troubleshooting properly and it still won’t work. I sent the company and email for support and they were not helpful. A week later, I am now having to return them.
