It makes this annoying static crackling pop noise. Plus the battery doesn’t last long so don’t plan on some serious gaming. Trash!!!

Great Build, but Hardware Issue

When I would turn the volume up, it would crackle, and the left headphone would go in and out. I am going to return and will update if the next headset is better.

Unsatisfactory performance

They constantly disconnect and frequently need to be restarted. Additionally I have been told I sound more clear one the mic they included with my controller. I love having wireless but I would never buy there again.

The Recon 200 is an amplified headset and requires charging in order for that amplification and additional features to work. Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller).
With that being said, you should not hear any sort of high pitched noise when the headset is in use, so please take the time to reach out to our support team for assistance. Not a good headset

I tried it a couple of times and put it back in the box and bought a better brand.

Thanks for your feedback. The Recon 200 headsets require charging due to the fact that they are amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort.
