    Could barely hear anything coming through the headset. Had the volume all the way up. Even charged the headphones for a while which is strange for a headset that is wired directly to the Xbox controller. Really poor decision by Turtle Beach for the charging to use feature for not being wireless headphones. Also were a tight fit for someone with a smaller head like mine. I returned them and eventually spent more for the Stealth 600 which are wireless and sound great.

    These are junk, bought them for my son for Christmas and within three weeks he could not hear his friends...or use the speaker. Don’t waste your money

    Ear covers come off easily and regularly. They area pain to put back on. Loses charge quicker than stated.

      In regard to the need to charge the headset; the Recon 200 is an amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort.

      Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller).

    The battery runs out every night of using for a few hours! If you forget to charge you won’t have a working headset tomorrow.

    My headset came somewhat defective. My headset came in good condition until I actually tried to use them. The cord part that plugs into the controller seemed to have a short in the wire. I basically had to move the cord around and find the right spot for the sound to come through the headset and hold it there while I played. I tried to exchange them at the Best Buy store but for some reason they were unable to order me a new pair. Very frustrating!

    Don’t buy these if you are buying a wired headset. These need to be charged even though they are wired.

    Headphone work goog but the mic keeps going out and no longer works after 3 months. 3rd set now need to find a better set up for switch

    Poor quality, static, mic problems

    Barely purchased this headset and right away there is a lot of static from the headset and the mic goes in and out and the sound quality is low and horrible and yes I checked to see if the volume for both the mic and the sound were up and for the right console and still the sound is horrible im soo disappointed because I purchased for a Christmas present and don't know if I can return them. Very Disappointed!

    i bought 2 months ago 2 pairs of turtle beach recoon 200 headsets, for my brother and I, but my headset started to fail after a month of use, and I use them in a good way, I have a support for hearing aids where I leave them to prevent damage to the auxiliary cable, but these started to fail and when I connect the auxiliary cable sounds a lot of static and active the microphone and sounds much worse :c
