The turtle beach are great, when they are on sale. The sound and mic quality is crisp for its price. Being less than $100 there is alot of competition. I am a average gamer and love the product. Looks great too. The volume and charging control is a bit bulky. It does not turn off by urself, that is why it is a 4/5 stars.

I’ve been playing online since CoD 4: Modern Warfare but I never had an interest in getting a headset and talking to other people, especially people i don’t know. I always muted everyone and played in silence. My buddy recently got CoD Modern Warfare and convinced me to get a headset to play together. I got this headset and it does the job. Have used it several times but mainly just when I play with my buddy, which isn’t very often. Good quality for the price.

These fit well and sounded great in the store but after using them several times not so much. The sound is still great but I cannot even wear these for an hour before my right ear begins to hurt will probably return them. Also why do they need to be charged when they are have a cord you plug in?

My son said they are very comfortable and crystal clear. He has nothing but praise for the headset.

For needing a cheap headset, this is great. Forgetting to turn them off is annoying but an easy fix.

We own 2 sets. No issues as of now. we havent had them all too long. charging time is not too bad, maybe 2-3 hours for a full charge. using time is great. I think it lasts 12-13 hours for us with pretty much continuous use. ear phones are plenty big. does do a good job of cancelling out other noises. mic seems very good too. warranty from best buy was more than I thought but worth the 2 years if these break, we get a new pair.

My son is thrilled with them. I am a little concerned because I caught him unplugging and plugging them back into his xbox controller because he was unable to hear his friends. As far as I am aware this has only happened once. I do like the fact that he can use them with his xbox and then use them with his chromebook for school.

Pros: The audio quality of the headphone portion was very good from the limited experience I had with it. Keep in mind that I'm not an audiophile or anything, but it was a bit step up from the cheap speakers I have attached to my PC. Cons: The microphone portion of the pair I got was defective, and when the microphone was active most of the time the people on the other end could not hear me and there was a lot of static coming through the headphones on my end. I suspect there was a bad solder joint inside this assembly or something similar. Because of this issue I returned these and bought a different pair. That said, if you can get a pair that works properly I suspect these would be pretty good. Note: If you are connecting these to a PC you need an additional splitter cable to split the headphone and the microphone jacks. This is not included in the box, but needs to be purchased separately.
