They do need to be charged to use but they are not wireless. The only thing is the microphone part swivels to mute and unmute and l have had 2 break when using it. If used carful these can last long

Partially my fault for assuming that a wired headset would not need to be charged. But it does, and there is no notification system to tell when the battery is running low it just turns off. Other than that it’s a decent headset.

Overall nice quality headset then ones I’ve had in the past but can be tricky to get the volume adjusted right which can be very annoying. I have to keep playing around with my Xbox headset settings online but once you get it right makes the gaming experience better for a decent price
