The sound quality is average, but ear cushions are comfortable. The downfall is you must charge the headsets eventhough its a wired headset. Also the instructions are not clear when connecting to the Nintendo switch.

Give it 3 stars because it uses its battery even when it is plugged to PS4 control so it will not work when it runs out. My previous headset worked plugged to the control even if I forget to charge it.

Your headset requires charging due to the fact that they are amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort.
Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller).
Also, as a heads up, please know that we have a newer Recon 200 GEN 2, which is the successor to your Recon 200. It offers a majority of the same features, but the Recon 200 GEN 2 can now be used when the battery has been depleted due to fan feedback.
