they quit working waste of money do not buy this brand

I can not say anything about this Product because it was a gift for a kid.

So far I do not have any complaints about this headset. Comfort - They fit well and are light weight. The ear pads do not pinch or bunch on my ears like my old ones did. The headphone volume, mic volume, and system selector is on the back of the left ear so that makes everything centrally located. The mic can be flipped up easily as well when it's not needed. Performance - It's been great so far. I have been using it straight out of the box and have put about 5-6 hours on them. I still haven't had to charge the batteries and haven't had any issues. The sound quality is good and I haven't had anyone complain about not being able to hear me. I can even hear myself breath when it's dead silent. Overall - 5 Stars so far.

Did not work well on my Xbox series S. Other players could not hear me on party chat.

This Turtle Beach headset is a great choice as a budget headset. Its incredible how good these cheaper headsets are now compared to a few years ago. They are comfortable and have good adjustment options. The mic is pretty great for this price, and so is the audio quality. I have been gaming with them pretty frequently on my Switch/Xbox/PC and haven’t had any issues with battery life. I can’t imagine a reason you wouldn’t be happy with this headset, especially for the price! It’s a great value.

Anytime I can get my hands on Turtle Beach headphones, I jump at the opportunity. I will objectively say that in the gaming headphone market the Turtle Beach brand is generally thought of first. This is because no matter weather you are rocking one of their higher-end more pricey headphones or one of the intro level headphones you will get a product that delivers a great feel, durable design, and most importantly a superior sound quality. The Recon 200 Gen 2 uphold this tradition. Out of the box they had enough power that I could jump right in and played for several hours on my Xbox Series X. I started with Madden and was pleased with the chat mic and overall sound. Next, I played Warzone and was actually impressed here more so with the sound quality than anywhere. WZ is sound crucial and the devs were like "Hey let’s make everything so loud that it ruins peoples hearing and they cannot make out other sounds" (jk but fr). These played very well and even though the game is designed to purposefully hide footsteps with background noise. The clarity I experienced allowed for me to easily distinguish. The pair wears very well and are super comfortable. I am a big guy and these fit great but will easily adjust to a smaller size. The White and Grey also really pop just for flex. I will note that I wish the 3.5 mm cable were a bit longer but in comparison it is as long or longer than others. I also prefer to use this type of mutable mic with the Xbox headset controller adapter. I do this because the only way to mute yourself is to push the mic up and since it is a low-profile mic this can be cumbersome to do during more intense game play. The Recon 200 are priced at an entry level price, but I cannot tell a difference between my higher-end pair and these in a lot of cases. I believe that is saying something. Furthermore, just so it is said they played very well on my laptop too.

The overall volume settings on it are very low and weak. Easy to use but it doesn’t take party chat and game chat audio at the same time.

Turtle Beach - Recon 200 Gen 2 Powered Gaming Headset Woof, this is a light, comfy headset. With memory foam earcups, sports cloth, and eyeglass-friendly features, it is a pleasure to use, especially for those long gaming sessions. The 12-hour battery life is the real deal. It will also work without a charge, but you lose out on the Bass boost and mic monitoring. Flip to mute the mic is a must-have, and this headset has it. Even though this is mainly plastic in construction with metal reinforcement in the headband, it looks pretty durable and well constructed. The headset will work with PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox series x|S, Nintendo Switch, and a PC. With the PC setup, you may need a longer cable and a splitter, depending on your setup. The Mic is clear but doesn't have noise-canceling – this didn't affect my friend's listening pleasure. It may not have studio sound quality for music, but it works well for gaming and video conferencing. The controls are well defined and easy to use. The ear cups are very comfortable, and even with long sessions, they didn't heat up my ears. And the glasses friendly feature was A plus. You can’t beat this for the price.

The sound, the bass (especially powered) is fantastic. The sound that is passed from the PS5 controller is phenomenal though these headphones. They are light and quite comfortable, even wearing glasses. While they are not advertised as noise cancelling, you do not get external sounds coming through at all. Simply outstanding.

Good quality, good battery and good price point compared to other headsets

These headphones are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The horizontal over the head is cushioned nicely, as are the earmuffs. It came charged. There is a toggle for Xbox or PS. I tried it with the Xbox and it worked like a champ. The 3/8 plug was really nice compared to my other headphones which need an adaptor. The sound was above average for the price. It has individual volume controls for headphones and mic and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable (included).

These headphones provide adequate sound reproduction and are comfortable to wear even for long sessions. As expected with all Turtlebeach products. My gripe (and reason for only 3 stars) comes from the fact that these headphones are powered, but not for the reason you’d think. They are still required to be plugged in to use them but in order to use the microphone you need to charge them and have them powered on. The sound works passively but in order to have a “bass boost” (which is minimal at best) you need to charge them and have them powered on as well. It’s kind of confusing to have to have them plugged into the controller and yet still need to charge them simply to use the microphone, when other brands and even other models within the TB wheelhouse do not require this. For what it’s worth it may be a better choice to go with a different model one that may be slightly more expensive and is wireless or one that is slightly less expensive and is wired but does not need to be charged. This model seems to straddle a line that has no business being straddled.

This is our second purchase of the turtle Beach recon 200. My son uses it for gaming now going on three years and my daughter 13 years old and heavy into Fortnite is getting her first turtle beach recon 200 one more time!

This headset is very complete especially considering I have all three top consoles right now. Xbox series x, PlayStation 5, and a Nintendo switch. Everything you need comes in a box and it's very seamless to connect from one system to the next. Amazing audio for the price point I expect it nothing less. Turtle Beach makes awesome product at a very affordable price. Be sure to pick one up right away.

This item is awesome, I enjoy wearing them while I play my game with other gamers. They are sturdy and very comfortable and the price is great. I recommended this to my family and friends.
