I wanted to up my headset game on the PS4, but not drop $100+ which seemed a bit unnecessary. I found these on sale and bought online, picked up in store. There were only a few left, so I'm glad I was able to grab one! First, Turtle Beach is just a great headset brand, so I expected to get a quality product and they delivered on that. I have all of my audio running the headset and the audio is fantastic. It is great to put on the headphone and sneak some games without my wife knowing! I LOVE the detachable mic. It is a great idea and really easy to remove and plug back in. Overall, comfortable and great quality product, especially for the price.

The sound quality i was told was good but im not sure if its my controller or the headphones but sometimes it works correctly amd sometimes i have to keep plugging them back in for them to work.

Bought this for streaming and chatting with friends. According to them, the mic quality is quite good. Sound quality is great, and i use it every time i play on my PS4, even if I'm not chatting or streaming. It just sounds better. Plug and play, though on PC I struggle to use the mic when i try to use it for discord. I think it's just my laptop being weird about the audio/voice sources even though its one port for both.

Ive tried many headphones over a long gaming career. This is the best bang for your buck. Ive dropped them hundreds of times and they still work good. Expect them to last you a over a year of heavy gaming. You have to be gentle with the wires. The attachable microphone is crystal clear with a small sponge to help drown out background noise.

Purchased this for my daughter. It’s a comfortable headset with an in-line mute switch and volume control dial. Sound quality is okay. Good value but annoying design how the headphone cables are attached to both earpieces unlike some competitive products where the cable is only attached to one side (preferred). I will add a star for the detachable microphone accessibility.

Starting here rather than getting some five below style headset. lightweight and comfortable. Good sound.

For the price and how long they last, especially with how often I play, you can’t go wrong with these particularly. These are a must-buy considering how imperative it is for gamers to hear sounds!

Better audio than I thought can hear footsteps and have enough time to get my scope up. Also has good vocals when playing a game using reply.

This is the first set of Turtle Beaches I've purchased. At first, they feel like in order to fit comfortably over your ears the headband needs to rest toward the front of your head (Which feels awkward). The mic works great and being able to detach it from the headset is handy when you want to use them as wireless headphones for your TV. The main complaint I have is that they need to be plugged in to the controller. There have been numerous times that I have set my controller down to reach for something and it caused my controller to slam to the ground. I'm most likely going to trade them in for an upgrade to a wireless set solely for that reason. The sound quality is good and the volume is decent. If having a wire doesn't seem likely to bother you, this is a great deal.

Cheap and functional. I just needed a new headset that works, that I didn't have to spend too much on. This is exactly that. It will hold me until I'm ready to upgrade. It's comfortable. I just wish the volume had more range, but I have no real complaints.

Been using the Recon 50X for couple weeks. The sound quality is very good for the price. The head set was built with durable material and comfortable to wear. I like the design as well it matched my other equipment. I also use the headset for conference calls and the quality was very good and mic was loud enough so every one could hear my presentation well.

This is by far one of the best budget gaming headphones in the industry. If you are looking for something not too expensive and good quality definitely get this.

Worked great until I lost a game and threw it down with Hulk Hogan / John Cena force and smashed it like a green HULK. It actually still worked after that but the frame was toast...kinda impressed
