Recharge time is superior. Overall a quality headset. As far as taking abuse from children playing Xbox subpar. Purchased less than six weeks ago microphone is already starting to fizzle out.

Comfortable to wear for longer durations, and has good sound for the price. My eight year old son managed to yank out the cord and expose the wires in less than two weeks, but that's my problem, not theirs.

They are light weight, you can hear footsteps clearly, the mic comes with a fuzzy piece to eliminate unwanted noise and the boom has been change from rubber to a metal bendable microphone boom. That should add more life to these headphones.
